Today I started a new quilt for my grandson. He is eleven and into creating things electronically. We cannot keep up with all he makes. After he outgrew his baby quilt, his sister make him one with fire trucks. He’s definitely outgrown that by now and really needs s nice bed quilt for his room.

So excited that my guild, @northernstarquilters is finally able to renew our annual show. Looking forward to a memorable weekend with lots of art candy and a chance to stock up on supplies. Hope you will all join us!

I thought that with the pandemic and isolation, time would stand still. But it calls to me even more and more. Next to my longarm is a pile of whole cloth hand-dyed fabric that I can’t wait to quilt. It has been much too long since I started a dyeing session and my design wall holds at least two new projects that I want and need to spend time on. I have so many projects that I thought I would complete in the depths of winter but the list seems to get longer and longer, and with spring just around the bend, the outside world beckons.

I now have a photography studio too!
