Photographing my quilts
I had an iPhone 13, a Nikon DX, and a subscription to Photoshop. That was the easy part! After taking Vickie Conley’s course on photographing quilts (creativespark.ctpub.com), I bought Softbox photography lights, a tripod and a laser level. If I thought this would be a quick do, I was in for a big surprise. It was two days of trial and error before I completed my photos and then had to navigate Photoshop to figure out how to remove backgrounds. I was also surprised that the photos from the iPhone were much sharper than from my Nikon. But it is done, and the result is that this website is now live and I hope you will enjoy following my work.
