In creating fabrics to be used in whole cloth quilts, I work with thickened dyes, acrylic paints, silkscreens, stencils and discharge among numerous other materials and techniques. These afford me the opportunity to create new relationships. By using both opaque and transparent areas I can add depth and focus. I hope my work will leave the viewer with visions of new possibilities.
